Good Morning Mission Financials,
One of the greatest privileges any of us can receive isn't money, success, or a great investment portfolio.
It's having someone who took the time to teach us.
This week's Weekly Market Update was inspired by a quote from the Roman philosopher Musonius Rufus. His observation was simple: people begin life from different starting points. Some have mentors, teachers, parents, and coaches who help them build strong habits. Others spend years learning those lessons through trial and error.
That idea resonated with me because it reflects what we see every day at Mission Financial Planners.
Most people don't make poor financial decisions because they lack intelligence. They simply haven't had someone take the time to explain the "why" behind investing, taxes, retirement planning, or estate planning. That's why our philosophy has always been to educate first and build a plan second.
